We are passionate and dedicated group of Women-in-Tech professionals from all over the world who are alumnae of the US State Department progam called Techwomen. We strive towards greater gender equity in the world and collaborate on projects for STEM education and Entreprenuership for women and girls in Emerging Markets starting with the Techwomen program countries in Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia

Rekha Pai
Rekha Pai is founder of Launch-HER, and president of Kamath Family Foundation. She is also an impact investor and serves as Partner at Capria which is early stage venture capital fund for global south. She is also Partner, Board member and Investing committee member at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund where she is responsible for leading due diligence of early stage impact investments. She is also an adjunct instructor at MIT’s I-Corps Spark program. Prior to becoming an Impact Investor, she led New Business incubation at Juniper Networks. She has 20+ years in various product management, marketing, and product development positions at companies such as Symantec Corp, Applied Materials, Sun Microsystems, and Procket Networks (acquired by Cisco) and serves on the board of Fast Forward, an Accelerator for Tech Non-profits based in San Francisco Rekha has been a Techwomen professional mentor and Impact Advisor since 2013 and currently serves on the Alumni Council for Techwomen. She is an investor, mentor, and advisor to several start-ups at Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs (SA&E), the Lean Launchpad Class at Stanford, and previously at StartX. She holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business

Kathy Giori
Kathy Giori fills her desk with hardware that can be programmed using MicroBlocks, and enjoys teaching workshops. She has worked in Silicon Valley her whole career, and currently runs a small startup focused on providing affordable privacy solutions to consumers. At MicroBlocks, she directs global partnerships and outreach, and is a member of the Project Leadership Committee. She volunteers her time to support and evangelize MicroBlocks because she wants to bring better STEM opportunities to users around the world. She is a passionate advocate for open source software, hardware, and STEM learning that is accessible to all. She received her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and her master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.

Meg Gordon
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Meg Gordon has built a reputation as a leader in education and research, driving impactful projects in the U.S. and internationally. From startups to global corporations, Meg brings strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and a knack for solving complex challenges. As Principal Consultant at Gordon Margolis LLC, Meg has collaborated with diverse organizations, from helping underserved students through Students Rising Above to enhancing career databases at Chegg and advancing AI-powered learning initiatives at Google. A pioneer in learning frameworks, she led the creation of Pearson’s Global Scale of English (GSE) Job Profiles, a patented competency framework adopted by educators and HR professionals worldwide to align English language skills with job market needs. Meg is also a dedicated volunteer, mentoring women in STEM through the U.S. State Department’s TechWomen program and leading ICT training for educators in Cambodia and Vietnam with Team4Tech. She brings a global perspective to her work, having supported education projects in Mexico, Asia, and Africa, and is proficient in several languages. Her blend of technical expertise, research acumen, and interpersonal skills makes Meg a trusted advisor and relatable advocate for learning and growth. She is known for her ability to connect big ideas with actionable results. She holds degrees in linguistics and international education from UC San Diego, San Jose State, and Stanford University.

Dana Abdel Khalek
Dana Abdel Khalek is a passionate project manager and social entrepreneur, dedicated to empowering youth and driving positive social change through innovation, collaboration, and peacebuilding. With extensive experience in designing and leading initiatives that focus on social entrepreneurship, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment, Dana has worked across Lebanon and the MENA region, building bridges and creating sustainable solutions. She currently leads international projects that equip young women with physical computing skills and entrepreneurship tools, leveraging technology to foster community-driven change. Committed to the UN SDGs, Dana is always eager to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations working toward a better, more inclusive world. Fabiola Addamo
Fabi is a dynamic, multilingual professional. Her educational background includes a Piano Diploma from Italy's Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory, a B.A. from San Francisco State University, and an MBA from UC Davis. With over 15 years of experience in Silicon Valley's top tech companies, Fabi blends strategic business skills with her creative passions. As the driving force behind the monthly LinkedIn newsletter Business Echelon, she offers leadership insights that inspire innovative thinking and self-reflection. In her free time, Fabi creates mixed media paintings & original digital cartoons inspired by her love for animals and bold colors. She also likes to incorporate mindfulness and healthy living into her daily routine. She continues to dedicate time to volunteering in fields such as STEM for women, the arts, animal welfare, and more.
